Supply chains are becoming more intricate, and labor rights concerns are growing with more complications. Many companies are struggling to conduct human rights due diligence in their complex and global supply chains. They must collect, verify, and analyze data from multiple sources and stakeholders, prioritize issues for risk mitigation and improvement efforts, as well as comply with the growing expectations and legislation on responsible business conduct and report their performance.
diginexLUMEN aims to deal with the complexity and provides businesses with clear information and actionable intelligence, enabling them to easily read and spot risks with less effort, and focus on taking effective and corrective actions.
Lead Product Designer of diginexLUMEN, co-work with professionals to develop from bottom up advanced features for various user roles. Collaborated with leading brands and civil society organizations to co-design diginexLUMEN, achieving a significant impact in the fight against modern slavery and human trafficking. Deployed expert-built assessments and collected comparable data to identify supply chain risks using multilingual worker voice surveys and algorithm-based risk scoring.
Proud to be in the team that made diginexLUMEN a finalist in the Thomson Reuters Foundation Stop Slavery Summit Enterprise Award in 2021, which marked our first global recognition for setting a gold standard in efforts to eradicate forced labour.
In developing new features for diginexLUMEN, I draw inspiration from previous products, such as IRIS SAFER and TEA, as well as competitor analysis. Each idea is thoroughly researched, evaluating functionality, user needs, time, budget constraints, and lessons from existing diginex features. Stakeholder collaboration is a key component of this phase, ensuring alignment with business goals and user expectations. Tools like Mural and FigJam are integral for brainstorming, collaboration, and synthesizing research insights.
I translate research insights into actionable design drafts, wireframes, and user flows that address core user pain points and objectives. My iterative design process includes multiple drafts, feature outlines, and interaction flows, which are tested and refined continuously. The goal is to ensure that each feature is not only functional but also enhances the overall user experience.
Post-launch, I conduct usability testing and UX exercises to validate design solutions and identify areas for improvement. These sessions include methodologies such as user interviews, open and closed card sorting, and moderated usability tests. Insights gathered during these sessions are compiled into detailed reports that highlight user pain points and inform product enhancements.
UX is an ongoing process, and I actively contribute to the evolution of diginexLUMEN by addressing feedback and implementing iterative improvements. My approach combines user feedback with collaborative sessions in Mural and FigJam to align cross-functional teams and ensure a seamless user experience. By staying agile and user-focused, I help the product continually adapt to meet evolving user needs.
